THE EVOLUTION OF THE POWER GRAB UPPERCLASS OR TOWARDS A QUANTITATIVE THEORY OF ECONOMIC OR JUST COMIC POWER Cheating is known to occur in some plants or SOCIETIES OR BANKS , but it is not known how widespread the strategy is.....towards a quantitative theory of the flower POWER OR JUST POWER IS JUST THE SAME LAME FRAME . It divides both POWER OWNERS AND POWERLESS IN STRESS OR flowers and their visitors into two categories: THE HAVE AND THE HAVE-NOT the flowers may either produce a substantial volume of nectar (“secretors”) or none (“cheaters”), while the insects either attempt to discriminate between them and enter only secretors (“selectors”) or enter any flower encountered (“neglectors”). If the insects can learn the state of the plant population and behave accordingly, then they should all either select or all neglect exclusively; the plants adopt a mixed strategy with each plant producing a similar proportion of cheating flowers. The proportion increases as the time required by the selectors to discriminate between cheaters and secretors increases relative to the time required to extract the nectar. The argument is of general interest because it represents a new theory of nectar concealment. Cheating is known to occur in some plants or SOCIETIES OR BANKS , but it is not known how widespread the strategy is The Class-Domination Theory of Power by G. William Domhoff NOTE: WhoRulesAmerica.net is largely based on my book, Who Rules America?, first published in 1967 and now in its 7th edition. This on-line document is presented as a summary of some of the main ideas in that book. Who has predominant power in the United States? The short answer, from 1776 to the present, is: Those who have the money -- or more specifically, who own income-producing land and businesses -- have the power. George Washington was one of the biggest landowners of his day; presidents in the late 19th century were close to the railroad interests; for the Bush family, it was oil and other natural resources, agribusiness, and finance. In this day and age, this means that banks, corporations, agribusinesses, and big real estate developers, working separately on most policy issues, but in combination on important general issues -- such as taxes, opposition to labor unions, and trade agreements with other countries -- set the rules within which policy battles are waged. While this conclusion may at first seem too simple or direct, leaving little room for elected officials or voters, the reasons behind it are complex. They involve an understanding of social classes, the role of experts,.

A GREAT DIVIDE BETWEEN

THE POWERLESS AND THE POWER

GRAB UPPERCLASS

Would ye have a young Virgin of fifteen Years,
You must tickle her Fancy with sweets and dears,
Ever toying, and playing, and sweetly, sweetly,
Sing a Love Sonnet, and charm her Ears:
Wittily, prettily talk her down,
Chase her, and praise her, if fair or brown,
Sooth her, and smooth her,
And teaze her, and please her,
And touch but her Smicket, and all's your own.

Do ye fancy a Widow well known in a Man?
With a front of Assurance come boldly on,
Let her rest not an Hour, but briskly, briskly,
Put her in mind how her Time steals on;
Rattle and prattle although she frown,
Rowse her, and towse her from Morn to Noon,
Shew her some Hour y'are able to grapple,
Then get but her Writings, and all's your own.

Do ye fancy a Punk of a Humour free,
That's kept by a Fumbler of Quality,
You must rail at her Keeper, and tell her, tell her
Pleasure's best Charm is Variety,
Swear her much fairer than all the Town,
Try her, and ply her when Cully's gone,
Dog her, and jog her,
And meet her, and treat her,
And kiss with two Guinea's, and all's your own.
